About this role
Role overview An internal technology organisation is hiring a Senior Integration Engineer to design, build, and support enterprise-grade integrations across its cloud-based business systems. The role sits within a team that is modernising legacy platforms, introducing AI-enabled products, and re-architecting infrastructure to support rapid global growth. It is a hands-on engineering position with end-to-end ownership of integration delivery, from design through deployment and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable integrations between strategic enterprise applications using serverless Azure compute patterns. - Build and evolve custom APIs, services, and integration components that underpin critical business processes and data flows. - Implement integration patterns using managed Azure services such as API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault. - Modernise legacy integrations and data exchange processes to improve resilience, scalability, and maintainability. - Take ownership of technical delivery end-to-end, including design, build, deployment, support, and continuous improvement. - Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for business-critical integration services.
Requirements - Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations across complex business system landscapes. - Strong hands-on expertise with Azure integration services, particularly Function Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault. - Proven ability to build and maintain custom APIs and integration components in a production environment. - Solid understanding of security, monitoring, governance, and operational controls for integration platforms. - Track record of owning solutions from design through deployment and ongoing support. - Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders across distributed teams.
Nice to have - Familiarity with platforms such as Dynamics 365, Workday, and Dataverse, and integrating across them. - Exposure to modernisation of legacy integration estates and cloud migration initiatives. - Interest in AI-enabled tooling, intelligent workflows, or data products that support internal users.
Benefits and work setup - Opportunity to contribute to a major re-architecture effort spanning AI, data products, workflow platforms, integrations, automations, and cyber security. - Work within a global technology function supporting colleagues across multiple regions.
