Senior Software Engineer, AI Intelligence Platform

Role overview Build core services for an AI intelligence platform that brings together sensitive data and makes it usable for AI systems. The work spans architecture, implementation, and production operation, with a focus on generating useful insights while preserving strong security and privacy boundaries.

Responsibilities - Design and document scalable, reliable platform components, and guide their technical direction. - Lead complex projects from early requirements through launch and ongoing improvement. - Build trusted data foundations and services that turn analysis into relevant user insights. - Define how AI agents access sensitive information, using controls such as least privilege and isolation. - Choose technologies with attention to scale, cost, and operational simplicity. - Set engineering practices for security, privacy, observability, and testing; mentor engineers on design and reliability.

Requirements - Roughly 5 or more years of software engineering experience, including shipping large distributed systems. - Experience owning complex systems from architecture through production operations. - Strong grounding in software design, algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems. - Cloud architecture judgment across compute, databases, queues, caches, and data pipelines. - Experience designing systems that handle sensitive or regulated data with security and privacy built in. - Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams; a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have - Production experience with AI or LLM systems, such as agents, retrieval, evaluation, or observability. - Background in security, privacy engineering, trust and safety, or large-scale data platforms. - AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience.
