Role overview A senior Project and Program Manager position responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of complex, high-impact initiatives from initiation through completion. The role blends deep project management expertise with hands-on use of modern AI and agentic tools to automate workflows and orchestrate multi-step work. It requires leading cross-functional teams, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and aligning projects with strategic goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities - Develop comprehensive project charters, scope documents, resource plans, schedules, budgets, and feasibility and risk assessments. - Lead multidisciplinary teams, assign tasks, manage workloads, and track milestones using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello. - Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve escalations and conflicts in a timely manner using both quantitative and qualitative data. - Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenses, reporting variances, and coordinating contracts with vendors and third-party providers. - Establish strong stakeholder relationships, facilitate status meetings and executive briefings, and manage change requests to maintain alignment on scope, timelines, and costs. - Conduct post-project reviews, share lessons learned, and mentor junior project managers to promote consistent standards across the practice.
Requirements - Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. - Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira. - Familiarity with LLM platforms and hands-on experience using next-generation AI agent frameworks to automate workflows and orchestrate multi-step tasks. - Five to eight years of progressive project management experience, preferably in IT, construction, healthcare, finance, or manufacturing. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or CSM certification strongly preferred.
Benefits and work setup - Salary range of $132,240 to $208,800.
