Senior Frontend & Creative Engineer

Role overview

Craft visually striking, micro-animated digital interfaces, WebGL visualizations, and high-performance web applications where aesthetic ambition meets uncompromising Core Web Vitals. The role blends creative front-end craftsmanship with deep technical performance, from typography hierarchy to physics-based interactions and seamless route transitions.

Responsibilities

- Develop sophisticated web applications and interactive client portals using Next.js App Router, React 19, and TypeScript. - Implement high-framerate WebGL and Three.js shaders, canvas animations, and physics-based micro-interactions. - Enforce strict accessibility standards (WCAG AAA), keyboard navigation, and responsive typography across deliverables. - Collaborate closely with technical designers to push boundaries of modern interactive web design. - Continuously benchmark and optimize frontend performance for sub-second LCP and zero layout shifts.

Requirements

- 5+ years crafting exceptional web interfaces, web applications, and design systems. - Expertise with modern React, Next.js, TypeScript, CSS architecture, and animation runtimes such as GSAP, Framer Motion, or Lenis. - Hands-on experience with WebGL, Three.js, GLSL shaders, or Canvas API. - Deep understanding of browser rendering pipelines, DOM performance, and responsive layout nuances.

Nice to have

- Experience with WebGPU compute shaders and audio-visual WebGL experiences. - Prior work with SVG animations, Matter.js physics, or 3D spline integrations. - Strong portfolio of award-winning websites (Awwwards SOTD, FWA, CSS Design Awards).
