Responsibilities

- Build and maintain regression automation scripts that validate core platform functionality. - Perform manual testing against defined acceptance criteria to confirm feature behavior. - Run smoke, integration, performance, and regression suites to ensure overall software health. - Document feature behavior and detailed pass/fail conditions, mapping failures to specific defects. - Surface and escalate quality risks to the team and broader organization. - Partner with product and engineering to embed quality throughout the SDLC and release cycles. - Incorporate user feedback from customer-facing teams into the testing strategy. - Participate in refinement and estimation to support accurate delivery planning. - Use GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and enable automated quality practices. - Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to production quality incidents.

Requirements

- At least five years of experience in a software QA function. - At least five years of experience in automated testing. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - A holistic quality mindset that extends beyond defect finding to product and process health. - Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, SQL, and Ruby or Rails.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Jest, Puppeteer, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter. - Experience with supporting tooling such as GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, or PagerDuty. - Understanding of quality management systems and structured quality control processes. - Background in data-driven testing or security-focused testing. - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
