Role overview A Quality Assurance Engineer role focused on embedding quality-driven practices across multiple concurrent digital projects. The position partners with developers, business analysts, and project managers to plan and execute testing for customer-facing websites and applications. The work blends manual testing with growing automation initiatives to support digital transformation efforts.
Responsibilities - Plan and execute quality assurance and user acceptance testing across multiple product categories and release cycles - Coordinate release management activities, including feature updates, bug fixes, and enhancements - Build test plans, strategies, and test cases jointly with developers, analysts, and project managers, then verify outcomes against business and system requirements - Conduct quality reviews of web applications across desktop and mobile devices, multiple browsers, and responsive breakpoints - Apply manual and automated testing tools to validate functionality and conformance - Test API integrations using tooling and frameworks designed for service validation
Requirements - At least three years of QA or manual testing experience on public-facing web applications, covering desktop and mobile validation - At least three years participating across the software development lifecycle on customer-facing web projects - At least two years of automated testing experience with tools such as Cypress or Playwright, including test architecture, reusable utilities, test data strategy, and CI/CD integration - At least two years validating API integrations using tools like Swagger, Postman, or equivalent API testing frameworks - Release management experience and the ability to operate effectively in Agile or Waterfall settings - Accessibility testing experience against ADA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards - Hands-on use of Agile tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, plus documentation platforms like Confluence or comparable wikis - Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization under pressure, and a collaborative, customer-oriented mindset - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting
Nice to have - Experience testing Content Management Systems from both user and admin perspectives, such as Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, or Contentful - Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar - Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to debug UI behavior and support automated test development - Exposure to modern front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js
