Role overview

A remote Program Manager position is open for an experienced leader to run delivery of a Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) within a federal client environment. The role owns contract performance end-to-end, acting as the single accountable point for service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and operational quality. It suits a hands-on program leader with deep cybersecurity or IT service management experience who can balance governance, technical alignment, and customer communication.

Responsibilities

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - At least five years of experience managing programs or projects within IT or cybersecurity environments. - Hands-on experience managing service delivery inside a Security Operations Center or comparable operational setting. - Demonstrated track record overseeing SLAs, performance metrics, and structured reporting cycles. - Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary technical staff. - Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing customer demands. - Willingness to undergo and maintain a government-issued background investigation process.

Nice to have

- PMP or an equivalent project management certification. - CISSP or another recognized cybersecurity credential. - Privacy-focused certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPM. - Prior experience supporting federal or government programs. - Background working in secure or compliance-driven environments.
