About this role

Role overview A senior analytics leadership role on a community experience quality team, partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to diagnose and improve the customer experience at scale. The position is hands-on and execution-focused, operating independently from problem framing through leadership-ready recommendations. Work directly informs both executive strategy and product-squad-level decisions during a period of constrained capacity.

Responsibilities - Run strategic deep dives into customer-experience drivers like cleanliness, check-in, and communication to surface symptoms, root causes, and recommended interventions. - Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments measuring the impact of quality initiatives. - Apply causal inference frameworks (difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, propensity matching) to estimate the true impact of product, policy, and operational changes. - Use LLMs and AI-assisted analytics to extract structured insights from unstructured data and scale root-cause taxonomy generation across millions of trips. - Develop and validate metrics and dimensions that monitor customer-experience health and flag emerging quality issues. - Build self-serve analytical artifacts including queries, dashboards, and readouts; partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and other analytics teams to align on methodology.

Requirements - 10+ years in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis in industry. - Strong hands-on SQL plus at least one of Python or R. - Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real product problems. - Practical experience with causal inference techniques applied to ambiguous business questions. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows, including prompt engineering, structured extraction from text, and using LLMs as classifiers or judges. - Strong analytical judgment, ability to balance rigor with speed, and excellent communication with senior non-technical audiences.

Nice to have - Background in marketplace, product analytics, customer experience, or trust-and-safety contexts.
