Coding Specialist (Fluent in Japanese) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Role overview Help evaluate and improve AI models’ software engineering capabilities in Japanese. This remote contract role combines coding expertise with language assessment and careful documentation of how models handle technical problems.

Responsibilities - Discuss software engineering tasks and technical scenarios with AI models in Japanese. - Check outputs for sound reasoning, coding accuracy, and natural, correct Japanese. - Reproduce and document model errors to make weaknesses clear for further evaluation. - Suggest improvements to prompts and assessment methods. - Evaluate a range of topics, including algorithms, data structures, APIs, asynchronous programming, secure coding, and systems work.

Requirements - Fluency in Japanese, including the ability to communicate technical ideas in writing. - Strong coding knowledge across areas such as software architecture, frontend or backend development, cloud infrastructure, or systems programming. - Clear, structured communication and the ability to show and explain your reasoning. - A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical discipline is desirable; practical development experience, Japanese technical writing, or open-source contributions are also relevant.
