SAP Application Security Consultant

Role overview This position focuses on delivering full lifecycle SAP security across ECC, S/4HANA, BW on HANA, and SAP Fiori environments for a federal-sector client. The consultant partners with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to design, build, and maintain secure role architectures while supporting implementations from preparation through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state operations.

Responsibilities - Create, maintain, and optimize SAP security roles for Fiori and S/4HANA, including catalogs, pages, and spaces - Troubleshoot Fiori tile, launchpad, and authorization issues, analyzing security tables, system logs, and related programs - Manage user administration and authorization assignments across SAP and connected supporting systems - Support full security lifecycle phases: preparation, blueprinting, build, testing, go-live, hypercare, and operations - Contribute to greenfield S/4HANA implementations using modern role-building and Fiori-based access models - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align role design with business, audit, and compliance needs - Participate in design reviews and recommend security architecture improvements - Assist with GRC access control, BRF+ rulesets, MSMP workflows, and SAP Analytics Cloud authorization alignment

Requirements - 4+ years of SAP security administration experience across ECC, S/4HANA, BW on HANA, and Fiori - Hands-on experience with security roles, catalogs, pages, spaces, and Fiori tile troubleshooting - Strong knowledge of SAP security tables, authorization objects, and system programs - Experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations and operational security - Experience supporting S/4HANA greenfield implementation security - U.S. citizenship required (no dual citizenship); active Q or TS clearance preferred

Nice to have - Experience with SAP GRC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and BRF+/MSMP workflows
