This consulting position centers on leading the analysis, design, and implementation of S/4HANA Acquire to Retire (A2R) business processes within a federal client environment. The work spans the full asset lifecycle—from capital budgeting and project construction through capitalization, depreciation, and retirement—while ensuring that property, plant, and equipment records remain compliant with federal financial reporting standards and audit requirements. Responsibilities

- Analyze and design S/4HANA A2R processes, facilitating workshops to define requirements for capital investment, asset tracking, and valuation - Configure New Asset Accounting (FI-AA), including Asset Classes, Depreciation Areas, and Valuation Groups, aligned with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) - Build and maintain Project Systems structures such as WBS Elements and Networks, automating the settlement process to Assets under Construction (AuC) - Integrate asset transactions with Funds Management to track appropriated funds for capital expenditures across the multi-dimensional budget structure - Migrate complex legacy asset data, reconciling historical depreciation, accumulated costs, and mid-year transfer values with the General Ledger - Develop and execute test plans covering acquisitions, transfers, impairments, and depreciation runs in multi-ledger environments, including deployment of SAP Fiori apps for asset inventory and capital spend analytics

Requirements

- 4+ years of experience in SAP FI-AA and PS, with deep familiarity with S/4HANA's simplified asset architecture and depreciation engine - Experience with Capital Investment Management, including the settlement logic from projects to fixed assets - Working knowledge of cross-module integration, especially between A2R and Procure to Pay (P2P) and Budget to Report (B2R) - U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship and an active Secret security clearance - Willingness to travel up to 25% - Current authorization to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship
