Principal IT Consultant (Dev Lead)

Role overview A senior consulting position leading the technical delivery of an Oracle EBS enhancement program for a U.S. federal government client. The role combines hands-on development leadership with architectural stewardship, guiding the modernization of legacy customizations toward newer Oracle integration and low-code platforms.

Responsibilities - Own the enhancement pipeline from intake and design through build, peer review, regression testing, and approved deployment. - Set and enforce technical design standards and code quality across the Oracle EBS technical stack. - Conduct code and configuration reviews using JDeveloper, Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code, and gate releases against quality criteria. - Apply Fusion extensibility standards and lead the migration of traditional RICEFW components into OIC, VBCS, and APEX solutions. - Evaluate the existing customization inventory and decide whether to retire or rebuild each item.

Requirements - Hands-on experience with Oracle JDeveloper. - Hands-on experience with the Eclipse IDE. - Oracle Database SQL Certified Professional credential. - U.S. citizenship (required to support a federal agency engagement). - Demonstrated leadership of technical teams across the full software delivery lifecycle.

Nice to have - Experience designing or reviewing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, VBCS applications, and APEX solutions. - Familiarity with retiring legacy RICEFW objects in favor of modern Oracle PaaS and SaaS extensibility patterns.
