About this role
Role overview Own product design for consumer experiences that help families navigate complex senior care decisions. You’ll shape journeys from early discovery through production, making information easier to understand and next steps clearer, while balancing user trust, accessibility, business needs, and the realities of a connected marketplace. The role calls for a hands-on design leader who can turn ambiguity into direction and help teams move from evidence to shipped work.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end design for consumer work, from problem framing and journey mapping to prototypes and production-ready specifications. - Create clear, usable experiences for research, education, search, intake, matching, comparison, and conversion. - Work with product, engineering, research, marketing, analytics, operations, sales, and business leaders to set goals, scope, and tradeoffs. - Use user research, care-seeker feedback, operational input, funnel data, and product analytics to guide decisions and find opportunities. - Extend shared design patterns while identifying consumer-specific needs; explain design rationale to partners and leaders. - Use prototypes and AI-assisted tools to explore ideas, test assumptions, and improve design workflows; share findings and exercise judgment about quality, trust, and accessibility.
Requirements - At least seven years of product design experience on complex consumer or operational products, such as marketplaces, healthcare, search, ecommerce, or SaaS. - A portfolio demonstrating ownership from ambiguous problem framing through shipped work, including product or design system influence. - Strong interaction design, information architecture, systems thinking, UX writing judgment, and product judgment. - Hands-on curiosity and experimentation with AI tools in design or product development. - Strong Figma skills and the ability to communicate intent through flows, prototypes, specifications, and clear storytelling. - Experience working across functions in fast-moving environments and explaining how evidence, constraints, and judgment shaped decisions.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role. - Base salary of $165,000–$185,000, with a bonus of 10% of annual earnings. - Health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with match; paid time off.
