Job details
About this role
Role overview This senior product role owns strategy and execution for a suite of career services and talent-acquisition products used by universities, career centers, students, alumni, and corporate recruiters. The position sits at the intersection of higher education and HR technology, shaping B2B SaaS experiences that connect millions of early-career candidates with employers. It requires a hands-on product leader who can pair strategic vision with day-to-day execution across engineering, design, marketing, and customer success.
Responsibilities - Set the long-term product vision and roadmap for a major product line, prioritizing opportunities based on market research, customer insight, and business impact. - Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through launch, measurement, and iteration. - Run customer interviews, competitive analyses, and usage-data reviews to identify pain points and unmet needs in the recruiting and career-services space. - Partner with UX and research to deliver intuitive, accessible product experiences and lead discovery work such as prototyping and usability testing. - Collaborate with marketing and customer success on go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, launch coordination, and sales enablement. - Define and track product KPIs, using post-release data to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements - 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity. - Background working in a startup, scale-up, or otherwise resource-constrained environment. - Demonstrated end-to-end product ownership, from problem discovery through shipping and iteration. - Hands-on experience building AI agents, workflow automations, or functional AI-powered tools; prompting experience alone is insufficient. - Track record leading B2B SaaS initiatives in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition. - Familiarity with product and collaboration tooling such as Jira, Productboard, Figma, and Mixpanel, plus Agile practices.
Benefits and work setup - Annual compensation range of $120,000–$160,000, plus equity eligibility. - Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), and paid time off. - Remote work flexibility, regular team activities, and a generous PTO policy.
