Product Manager

Role overview A Product Manager role focused on fraud prevention within a consumer lending technology platform, working closely with the Director of Product for Fraud. The position owns strategy and execution for fraud detection and risk assessment products used by financial institutions, partnering with engineering, data science, client engagement, legal, and sales teams. Telecommuting is permitted, and the role is based in Burbank, California.

Responsibilities - Help shape strategic initiatives and maintain the roadmap for fraud prevention solutions. - Execute the product strategy end-to-end, from conception through launch and post-launch optimization. - Collaborate with engineering, data science, client engagement, legal, compliance, and sales teams to enhance offerings. - Build working knowledge of fraud in consumer finance and track industry trends, detection techniques, and regulatory changes. - Analyze key performance metrics to demonstrate product value to clients and internal stakeholders. - Gather requirements and feedback directly from clients and partner with sales and marketing on positioning.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - 2+ years of experience in a related occupation such as product management, SaaS, or financial technology. - At least 1 year of experience leading client interaction in a SaaS environment. - Hands-on product development, product road mapping, and OKR creation experience. - Strong collaboration skills across technical, commercial, and legal teams.

Nice to have - Background in fraud, risk, or compliance products for consumer finance. - Experience working with machine learning-powered risk or decisioning systems.
