Security Engineer (AppSec)

Role overview Join a remote-first engineering team as an Application Security Engineer responsible for embedding secure development practices across the software lifecycle. You'll work alongside engineers, designers, and product owners to design, build, and ship software solutions that are secure by default.

Responsibilities - Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications, services, and infrastructure - Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, secure software solutions - Take ownership of features from design through deployment, embedding security throughout - Drive technical excellence around threat modeling, secure coding, and code review - Help scale products globally while maintaining a strong security posture - Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of security awareness

Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a closely related role - Strong expertise in application security methodologies, tools, and best practices - Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to clean, maintainable, secure code - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English - Ability to work effectively with distributed, remote-first teams
