Senior PHP Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend features using PHP and modern Symfony-based libraries - Build and maintain APIs and customer integrations - Work with AWS and MySQL as part of the backend stack - Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues - Incorporate AI tools into the day-to-day engineering workflow - Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver reliable solutions

Requirements

- Strong professional experience in PHP backend development - Hands-on experience with Symfony or modern Symfony libraries - Good knowledge of MySQL - Experience working with AWS - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills - Comfortable using AI tools in everyday software development

Nice to have

- Experience with Rust or Python - Strong interest in learning Rust or Python, since both are actively used across parts of the project
