Senior Product Designer

Role overview Lead product design for an AI-powered tool intended to improve and automate parts of software development. You’ll shape the user experience as the product moves from proof of concept toward a minimum viable product, working across product, engineering, and AI teams. The initial engagement is project-based for approximately three months, with possible continuation.

Responsibilities - Guide product experience design from early concepts through implementation. - Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs for a web application. - Design interactions for complex workflows, including infinite-canvas and node-based interfaces. - Work with frontend and backend developers to check feasibility and support implementation handoffs. - Create and maintain a consistent design system and component library. - Use user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.

Requirements - At least five years of professional product or UX/UI design experience. - A degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related area, or equivalent experience. - Experience designing web applications; work on complex tools or platforms is relevant. - Proficiency with a modern design tool such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Nice to have - Experience with AI products or tools for software developers. - Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Vue. - Knowledge of accessibility practices or experience in an early-stage company.
