Remote job
Product Manager — AI Cloud
Job details
About this role
Role overview A product manager role covering a customer-facing AI platform that includes workspaces, a model marketplace, fine-tuning and self-serve GPU provisioning. The position owns the product end to end, from discovery through prioritisation, launch and retention. Buyers range from individual developers on personal payment through to enterprise platform teams running procurement and security review, and a core part of the job is deciding what to build for whom and defending that reasoning.
Responsibilities - Run continuous discovery with self-serve developers and enterprise platform teams, turning it into decisions rather than notes - Own the platform roadmap, including what gets cut, and communicate the reasoning behind sequencing - Write technical specifications that engineers can build from, covering edge cases and non-goals - Own the self-serve funnel from first touch through activation to retention, working from instrumented behaviour - Define the pricing and packaging model with commercial and engineering input and revisit it as usage patterns emerge - Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, launch and enablement so a release actually lands - Track competitive movement in AI infrastructure closely enough to be useful rather than merely aware
Requirements - Experience shipping a developer-facing or technical platform product, ideally in infrastructure, cloud or developer tools - Genuine technical fluency, able to hold a credible design discussion with engineers and read the documentation yourself - Comfort with product analytics and instrumentation, and with defining the metric before shipping the feature - Clear written communication, since specs and decision records are the main artefacts of the role - Ability to prioritise ruthlessly across competing internal and customer demands and to say no with reasons - Working understanding of the AI and machine learning landscape, sufficient to make sound product calls
Nice to have - Hands-on background in engineering or data science - Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models - Familiarity with marketplace or multi-sided product dynamics - Exposure to enterprise procurement, security review and compliance-driven sales cycles
Benefits and work setup - Remote-eligible, full-time product role with competitive compensation
