Middle Manual QA Engineer

Role overview A mid-level Manual QA Engineer role focused on web software quality within a blockchain and digital finance product ecosystem. The position partners closely with developers, designers, and business analysts to participate in feature scoping, estimate testing effort, and deliver across multiple projects. The engineer will analyze requirements, run functional and UX/UI testing, and safeguard the health of development and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Join feature scoping discussions, contribute to test effort estimation, and support overall project delivery planning - Analyze requirements and design, implement, and execute test cases covering functional, UX/UI, and regression scenarios - Create and maintain test documentation such as checklists, test plans, test sets, and detailed test cases - Report, track, and verify bugs throughout the defect life cycle - Produce test execution and project status reports for stakeholders - Help keep development workflows and CI/CD pipelines healthy across concurrent projects

Requirements

- Two or more years of hands-on experience testing web software - Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English - Practical experience with REST APIs and composing requests in Postman - Working knowledge of HTTP, JSON, HTML, and CSS, plus basic SQL for simple queries - Familiarity with Scrum methodology, the software development life cycle, the defect life cycle, and CI/CD flows - Comfort using Jira and Confluence, managing work across multiple projects, and working independently

Nice to have

- Mobile web application testing background - Exposure to security testing - Knowledge of gRPC APIs and tools such as Kreya - Experience with X-ray test management - Familiarity with Supabase and Lens tooling - Willingness to mentor teammates and share prior testing experience
