Technical Program Manager
Job details
About this role
Role overview A senior delivery lead is needed to run two connected migration workstreams inside a complex enterprise technology program. The position is hands-on and technical rather than purely coordinating, focused on turning partially defined requirements into an executable plan and driving the program through readiness, cutover, and closure. The work spans security-sensitive migrations that reduce technology risk while modernizing access and identity capabilities.
Responsibilities - Translate migration objectives into a structured program with clear workstreams, milestones, owners, assumptions, and success criteria. - Build and maintain an integrated roadmap, surface the critical path, and flag staffing, technical, or leadership gaps early. - Coordinate engineering, security, identity, infrastructure, endpoint, and business stakeholders, keeping dependencies actively managed. - Run a transparent RAID process plus dependency, decision, and stakeholder logs, with executive-grade status reporting. - Establish migration-readiness checkpoints, including cutover planning, fallback considerations, stakeholder communications, and post-migration validation. - Challenge weak technical plans, escalate blockers with clear recommendations, and drive decisions through to resolution.
Requirements - Significant experience leading complex, multi-workstream technology migrations end to end, ideally in security-sensitive or regulated environments. - Strong technical fluency sufficient to challenge engineering and identity plans without being the hands-on technical owner. - Demonstrated ability to create structure and clarity where requirements, ownership, or plans are still evolving. - Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level decision framing and fact-based reporting. - Highly organized, proactive, comfortable owning end-to-end delivery in distributed environments. - Practical experience using AI-powered assistants to improve productivity, analysis, or documentation quality. - Eligibility to work from the European Union region with a valid work permit.
Nice to have - Background with large-scale identity or endpoint migration programs, including AWS-hosted VDI. - Familiarity with enterprise Active Directory and Microsoft identity ecosystems such as Entra ID. - Experience as an external delivery partner inside large organizations and establishing program governance or migration-readiness frameworks. - Working knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or other structured delivery methodologies. - More structured use of GenAI inside SDLC workflows, including prompt patterns, automation of analysis, and AI-supported documentation.
Benefits and work setup - Remote delivery model operating from the EU region with multi-team, cross-border coordination.
