Senior QA Automation with TS + Playwright

Role overview A senior quality engineering position focused on designing and scaling test automation for modern web and backend systems. The work centers on TypeScript-based automation with Playwright, embedding tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and applying AI-assisted tools throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain automated test suites for web applications and backend services using TypeScript and Playwright - Architect test automation frameworks, apply recognized best practices, and review existing frameworks for structural quality - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage execution infrastructure within Azure DevOps - Plan, design, and document test scenarios and cases aligned with each stage of the software development lifecycle - Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team - Use AI-powered assistants such as coding copilots to improve daily productivity, decision-making, and test quality

Requirements - At least five years of hands-on experience in software test automation - Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, plus working knowledge of SQL - Demonstrated Playwright experience for end-to-end browser testing - Background in backend test automation and contract testing approaches - Practical experience with CI/CD best practices and Azure DevOps - Solid understanding of web technologies and core SDLC fundamentals - Self-driven, analytical mindset with a reliable track record of meeting deadlines - Daily use of AI tooling to support engineering work

Nice to have - Performance testing experience with JMeter, Gatling, or K6 - Structured application of generative AI workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into the SDLC - Interest in agent-based or AI-augmented development practices beyond standard tooling
