Salesforce Developer

Role overview Contribute to a programme that simplifies the architecture behind SDD mandate reconciliation, reducing reliance on legacy systems and improving data flow between Salesforce, banking platforms, and customer data services. The work spans full-cycle Salesforce development, integrations, and ongoing Application Management Services support. You will operate in an Italian-speaking Agile environment alongside Architects, Developers, and QA Engineers, helping build and sustain a system where Salesforce acts as the system of record for customer and mandate data.

Responsibilities - Deliver Salesforce development from refinement and estimation through development, testing, release, and hypercare - Design and implement solutions using Apex, Flow, LWC, and Aura, contributing to solution design and technical decisions - Build and maintain integrations with banking and payment systems, working with Platform Events and Bulk API - Support customer and mandate data synchronisation between Salesforce and a centralised Azure-based Client Data Domain - Write unit and integration tests, maintaining at least 80% code coverage, and assist with UAT - Prepare technical documentation and release evidence, investigate defects, and support corrective and evolutionary maintenance - Provide L2 and L3 technical support within the AMS scope, collaborating with Architects, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders

Requirements - Italian at B2+ or fluent (mandatory) and good English communication skills - Eligibility to work from within the European Union with a valid work permit - Strong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer at Platform Developer II level - Hands-on expertise with Apex and SOQL, plus solid experience in Salesforce Flow, LWC, and Aura - Practical experience with Platform Events, Bulk API, Salesforce integrations, Azure DevOps, and Ant-based deployment - Working knowledge of SonarQube or Salesforce Code Analyzer, plus familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor

Nice to have - Knowledge of Java or another general-purpose programming language - Experience with Azure, AKS, microservices, or banking and payment integrations - More structured use of generative AI inside the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations - Curiosity about agent-based and AI-augmented development practices

Benefits and work setup - Based anywhere in the EU with B2+ Italian; expected Milan visits roughly twice per year for two to three days
