Android Developer

Role overview Develop native Android functionality for an automotive focused initiative that is turning a general marketplace into a set of specialized shopping experiences. You will build and maintain mobile features, connect them to backend services, and contribute to technical decisions and reliable delivery across product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities - Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and current native development practices. - Integrate mobile features with REST APIs and coordinate end-to-end delivery with backend engineers and product teams. - Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of the everyday development workflow. - Make technical contributions, investigate problems independently and help resolve implementation challenges. - Work with build and continuous integration processes to support efficient, dependable releases.

Requirements - Mid-level or greater professional experience in Android development. - Fluent Kotlin skills and strong practical experience with Jetpack Compose. - Advanced knowledge of Coroutines, the Android SDK and native application development. - Experience integrating applications with REST APIs; Retrofit experience is preferred. - Understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures. - Experience with Gradle and CI systems, independent work habits, and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have - Experience with RxJava or large, complex application codebases. - Practical use of AI-supported development tools.
