Remote job
Implementation Lead, Enterprise Applications
Job details
About this role
Role overview The Implementation Lead owns how technology changes land across the business, leading cross-functional projects from intake through go-live and stabilization. The role is delivery-focused rather than platform administration: scoping requirements, coordinating administrators and external partners, and driving adoption. The work is centered on enterprise applications, with Salesforce as the primary system of record alongside Atlassian, ERP, CPQ, marketing automation, and internally built tools. The position is remote and based in Ontario, Canada, with no direct reports — leadership happens through influence.
Responsibilities - Lead implementations, enhancements, and migrations end-to-end, from intake and discovery through UAT, cutover, go/no-go, and stabilization. - Own project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and timelines, and run a regular cadence to keep stakeholders informed. - Coordinate work across system administrators, implementation partners, and business owners, keeping teams unblocked as requirements evolve. - Run discovery with business stakeholders, translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and partner with administrators to evaluate solution options. - Manage scope changes proactively, surfacing impact on timelines and priorities before they become problems. - Own training, documentation, hypercare, and handoff to ongoing support, and build repeatable intake processes, templates, and project standards.
Requirements - 2–4 years of implementation leadership for enterprise applications as an accountable project lead or senior analyst. - Hands-on experience taking at least two implementations or major releases through requirements, UAT, go-live, and stabilization, including at least one on Salesforce. - Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple teams without direct reporting authority. - Strong requirements work: user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and written requirements documentation. - Enough technical grounding to participate in solution discussions, evaluate tradeoffs, and challenge assumptions. - Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
Nice to have - Exposure to Atlassian, ERP, CPQ, marketing automation, or internally built applications alongside Salesforce.
Benefits and work setup - Remote role based in Ontario, Canada. - Expected salary range of $100,000–$120,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
