Senior Product Manager, Platform

Role overview

This Senior Product Manager role owns end-to-end development of a core product area at a consumer fintech whose mission is improving financial outcomes for younger users. The position sits at the intersection of customer experience, business performance, and regulatory reality, balancing growth, risk, and compliance as the platform scales. The role partners with leadership on vision and strategy while executing an owned roadmap and using AI tools to move faster from insight to shipped product.

Responsibilities

- Partner with leadership to define vision and strategy for the product area, aligning with customer needs and business objectives - Own the roadmap end to end, from problem definition and prioritization through launch, iteration, and scale - Use analytics, user research, and industry trends to identify high-impact features, optimizations, and experiments - Write clear specifications covering the problem, objectives, solution elements, decision rationale, and success metrics - Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, data science, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and finance - Monitor key product metrics, measure impact, and iterate based on learnings - Balance growth, risk, and compliance in product decisions and communicate tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders - Use AI tools to deliver better consumer experiences and business outcomes faster

Requirements

- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in consumer fintech or consumer mobile products - Track record of building, launching, and scaling consumer products from ideation through growth, with measurable business impact - Strong analytical skills and experience with BigQuery, Looker, Mixpanel, or similar tools - Day-to-day experience using AI tools, with evidence of how they have improved speed or quality - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders - Deep customer empathy and an outcome-oriented, owner mindset with a bias for action in ambiguous settings

Nice to have

- Background in software engineering, design, analytics, or technical product management - Experience in a regulated environment, or with banking, payments, lending, growth, or risk and fraud products - Prior experience at an early- or growth-stage startup
