About this role

Role overview A senior engineering role dedicated to building and scaling a modern marketing and data intelligence platform that powers both client-facing analytics and internal operations. The position centers on designing, optimizing, and automating data pipelines while leading complex projects, mentoring other engineers, and shaping the technical direction of the data stack. It is a hybrid role based out of an El Segundo office with an expected on-site presence of about two days per week.

Responsibilities - Develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines that move and transform marketing and operational data at scale. - Lead complex data projects end to end, from architecture through delivery, while setting technical direction for the team. - Push the speed and quality of ELT processes and introduce new tooling and architecture patterns that raise engineering standards. - Collaborate with senior management on strategy and partner with analytics, product, and marketing stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs. - Mentor and grow other engineers, fostering a culture of data engineering excellence and continuous improvement. - Contribute to a unified platform that combines a marketing data foundation, internal CRM capabilities, and operational reporting.

Requirements - Extensive experience as a senior data or software engineer building production data pipelines and platforms. - Strong programming skills in Python and fluency with SQL, Git, and modern data engineering tooling. - Demonstrated ability to architect scalable, reliable data solutions and lead technical initiatives across teams. - Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution and a track record of mentoring engineers. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical peers and business stakeholders.

Nice to have - Experience with cloud data warehouses, orchestration frameworks, and ELT architectures. - Background in marketing analytics, attribution, or media data. - Familiarity with building internal platforms that serve both client-facing and internal CRM-style use cases.
