Junior Software Engineer

Role overview Build and maintain features across AI-centric web applications on an engineering team that pairs hands-on coding with AI-assisted development. The work spans frontend UI implementation through backend API integration, with senior engineers reviewing your code and helping you grow quickly. Expect stand-ups, code reviews, and daily collaboration in English across a global, cross-timezone team.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain web application features across the frontend and backend, writing clean, well-documented code and implementing user interfaces to design spec. - Work on REST and GraphQL API integrations and databases to support application features. - Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack and write unit and integration tests to keep releases reliable. - Follow security best practices and internal development standards, including Git workflow. - Participate in code reviews and team stand-ups, keeping leads updated on task status and blockers. - Use AI tools to enhance and optimize how features get built.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Working knowledge of at least one modern web framework, with comfort writing JavaScript/TypeScript or an equivalent language for the team's stack. - Basic understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs and relational databases. - Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows. - Strong written and verbal English skills for daily use across documentation, code comments, and global team communication. - Comfort giving and receiving feedback in code review and asking for help when blocked. - Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow technical skills quickly.

Nice to have - Prior exposure to AI-assisted coding tools in a professional or personal setting.
