Remote job
Senior Fullstack Developer (C#/React), Migrate - ShareGate
Job details
About this role
Role overview
A senior full-stack developer is needed to help build a new web application from the ground up for a leading Microsoft 365 migration and governance platform used by thousands of organizations worldwide. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership, contributing across a React/TypeScript front end and a C#/.NET back end while partnering closely with product and design. It suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving, largely greenfield environment where AI-assisted development is a core part of how the team operates.
Responsibilities
- Ship full-stack features that meet quality, performance, and UX standards from the earliest milestones of the new web experience. - Shape the team's technical choices (libraries, API patterns, code structure, test strategy) so each decision accelerates future delivery rather than adding weight. - Translate user needs into shipped experiences in tight partnership with Product and Design. - Integrate Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD / Entra ID, MSAL) reliably and securely for migration and authentication scenarios in production. - Anticipate technical risks before they block the team and bring concrete solutions that keep delivery moving. - Raise the technical bar through code reviews and mentoring that help others grow. - Use AI-assisted development tools to reach a level of quality and output a solo developer could not achieve alone.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in software development, ideally in a product-oriented environment. - Strong front-end expertise with React (TypeScript). - Solid backend experience with C# / .NET. - Demonstrated ability to exercise strong technical judgment in a product context. - Experience collaborating with product and design teams to deliver quality user experiences. - Daily experience using AI tools in software development. - Clear, direct communicator who can constructively challenge product decisions.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD / Entra ID, MSAL).
Benefits and work setup
- Base salary of $125K–160K CAD, reflecting a Canada-wide compensation scale with possible regional adjustments. - Annual bonus program and a long-term incentive plan that lets employees share in company growth. - RRSP, family health insurance, telemedicine, and an annual wellness budget. - Flexible vacation policy. - Remote work with access to a Montreal office and in-person team gatherings twice a year. - Company-wide access to AI tools such as Claude.
