Job details
About this role
Role overview
Join a healthcare technology platform that helps providers recover fair reimbursement in a complex insurance landscape, owning critical pieces of the case execution workflow on the Case Execution team. The work centers on eligibility, batching, submissions, operations workflows, and claim orchestration, with particular depth in the most technically demanding eligibility and batching logic.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve core case execution systems across eligibility, batching, submissions, operations workflows, and claim orchestration. - Tackle complex, data-driven backend problems including the decision logic and sequencing that make eligibility and batching work correctly. - Contribute to workflow orchestration that coordinates how cases are staged, routed, and executed end to end. - Collaborate with the Integrations team, Case Strategy team, and other engineering and product partners to keep systems aligned across the platform. - Contribute to internal-facing UI and administrative tooling where the product requires it.
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack software engineering experience with a backend focus. - Strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience building data-heavy, workflow-oriented systems. - Experience with complex, data-driven decision logic or orchestration where correctness and sequencing both matter. - Experience contributing to modern React-based applications. - Python backend experience and comfort operating in a collaborative, fast-moving startup environment. - Self-directed, proactive approach with strong cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare-specific data or HealthTech systems. - Exposure to data-heavy architectures or problems adjacent to data engineering. - Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or Databricks.
