Role overview A mid-level Shopify Developer position focused on building and customizing storefronts for music brands and artists. The role blends platform-specific theme work with front-end engineering to deliver visually engaging, conversion-oriented commerce experiences across one or more brand sites.

Responsibilities - Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and storefronts for brand and client websites - Translate design mockups into responsive, accessible pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Build reusable components and write clean, well-documented code that other team members can read and extend - Optimize storefront speed, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals to lift conversion and search performance - Collaborate with design, product, and marketing stakeholders to scope features and ship iteratively - Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and data sources as new storefront requirements emerge

Requirements - Hands-on experience with Shopify theme development and Liquid customization - Strong front-end fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript - Solid problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership - Familiarity with responsive design patterns and modern build pipelines - Ability to work across multiple concurrent storefront projects and meet release deadlines

Nice to have - Shopify Plus experience for higher-traffic or multi-store environments - Familiarity with Shopify CLI, Theme Check, or the Shopify Admin API (GraphQL) - CI/CD experience using tools such as GitHub Actions - Front-end build tooling experience with Vite or webpack - Performance optimization work using Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals metrics
