Role overview A senior full-stack engineering position sits within an Assessments technology organization that builds digital learning and assessment products for global learners. The engineer will lead front-end development with React while contributing to back-end services, partnering with product, design, and architecture peers to ship accessible, high-performing features. The role reports to an engineering manager and offers influence over technical direction within an Agile Scrum environment.
Responsibilities - Design and build modern, responsive user experiences in React, applying contemporary front-end patterns and accessibility standards. - Develop intuitive interfaces that perform well across devices and meet learner and customer expectations. - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, architects, and engineers to translate ideas into shipped features. - Own features end to end, from concept and design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration. - Apply AI-assisted development tools to raise productivity and code quality. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Advanced proficiency building web applications with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. - At least two years of experience with back-end technologies such as .NET/C# or comparable server-side frameworks. - Hands-on experience with cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes. - Experience with relational or document databases such as MySQL or MongoDB. - At least one year contributing to DevOps practices including deployment automation, monitoring, or infrastructure support, plus CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, automated testing, and code reviews. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and strong English communication skills for collaboration with international teams.
