About this role
Role overview Own and evolve the frontend platform for a data-rich business travel product used by travel managers, finance teams, and travellers. This hands-on senior role combines frontend architecture, product delivery, and technical leadership, including building AI interactions that make complex workflows easier to use.
Responsibilities - Set the direction for frontend architecture, design systems, application state, routing, build tooling, and performance. - Build resilient integrations with microservices, including caching and graceful handling of service failures. - Develop AI features such as conversational booking, agent workflows, and streaming interfaces. - Guide the team’s use of AI coding tools and establish practical development standards. - Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor engineers. - Own quality from development through production, including automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and AWS operations; collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering.
Requirements - Significant experience building modern web applications and complex, stateful single-page applications. - Deep Vue 3 expertise, including Composition API, Pinia, Nuxt, and Vue reactivity; strong TypeScript skills. - Experience with modern frontend tooling such as Vite, code splitting, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals. - Strong fundamentals in building polished, accessible, responsive interfaces. - Regular use of AI coding agents, with sound judgment about their appropriate use; familiarity with AI application development, MCP, agent frameworks, context engineering, and evaluation. - Practical AWS experience, including services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, or ECS, and experience with CI/CD and feature flags. - Clear communication, collaboration, and ownership through delivery and continuous improvement.
Nice to have - Experience in business travel, fintech, or B2B SaaS; micro-frontends; or building and maintaining design systems. - Open-source contributions in the Vue or AI tooling ecosystem.
