Senior Solutions Engineer - Central / East

Role overview

This senior solutions engineering role helps organizations evaluate and adopt a web platform by connecting business goals with practical technical solutions. You will partner with sales, customer success, product, and prospective customers to lead discovery, design solutions, validate technical fit, and communicate the value of proposed approaches. The position is remote-first in the United States or British Columbia, Canada, with residence in the Central or Eastern time zones, an in-person onboarding session in San Francisco, and travel of up to 25%.

Responsibilities

- Support several active customer opportunities while partnering with three to four account executives and coordinating stakeholders toward timely solution delivery. - Lead discovery conversations to understand strategic objectives, technical requirements, constraints, and success criteria. - Design solutions, conduct technical validation, develop business cases, and guide evaluations, workshops, and trials. - Create clear, compelling demonstrations and narratives that show how the platform addresses customer challenges. - Represent customer needs in product discussions and influence both near-term improvements and longer-term direction. - Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that improve how teams deliver value to customers.

Requirements

- At least 3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering, ideally involving web development or related technical products. - A consultative approach, strong problem-solving ability, and genuine interest in helping customers achieve measurable outcomes. - Working knowledge of APIs and web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Strong written, visual, verbal, coaching, discovery, storytelling, and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities. - Curiosity about emerging technology and practical use of AI to improve problem solving and work quality.
