Role overview
Create practical technical education that helps customers and aspiring web professionals build high-quality sites and understand modern web development. The work spans production website creation, curriculum design, written and video instruction, live teaching, on-camera presentation, and close collaboration with instructional, product, engineering, and media teams.
Responsibilities
- Build production-quality reference websites and components for courses, tutorials, and live training. - Define lesson scope and demonstrations with instructional designers and video producers. - Present technical material on camera for tutorials, course content, and live sessions. - Review educational content for technical accuracy and ensure examples reflect real development practices. - Keep the technical learning library current as the platform evolves, rebuilding outdated material when needed. - Partner with product and engineering teams to prepare education for upcoming capabilities and releases.
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience in technical education, web development, web design, or a related combination. - Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including the ability to write, review, and explain code. - Demonstrated experience teaching technical concepts through video, documentation, courses, workshops, or community work. - Willingness and ability to present on camera from an outline or scripted material, either in a studio or home setup. - Ability to adapt explanations for visual developers, engineers, marketers, and other audiences. - Curiosity, comfort with feedback, collaborative working habits, and an active interest in AI and emerging technologies.
Benefits and work setup
The role may be based at a San Francisco headquarters or remotely within the United States, with travel to San Francisco for approximately one week each month. It is a full-time, permanent position reporting to an education-video leader. U.S. base-pay zones range from $113,000 to $155,000 depending on location, with eligibility for a company-wide bonus program.
