Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python, React, AI)

Role overview Build core product experiences for an AI platform that helps large construction projects manage specifications, supplier information and procurement. This senior full-stack role combines substantial frontend development with AI-assisted document workflows, traceable answers and the backend foundations of a multi-tenant SaaS product.

Responsibilities - Create key product interfaces such as dashboards, bid comparisons, requirements pipelines, supplier and equipment management, document viewers and an AI assistant. - Develop PDF viewing features with annotations and links from AI-generated content back to its source passages. - Build assistant experiences with streaming responses, conversational context, inline citations and human review steps. - Improve AI capabilities for extracting, comparing and reviewing construction project documents. - Keep data-heavy screens responsive with efficient tables, filtering, comparison views and clear processing status for long-running tasks. - Design APIs and data models, maintain reliability through testing and CI, and work with product colleagues and construction professionals to shape workflows.

Requirements - At least 7 years of software engineering experience. - Full-stack capability suited to building substantial frontend modules and supporting APIs and data models. - Experience creating responsive, data-intensive interfaces and handling long-running or real-time application states. - Ability to build AI document experiences where answers can be checked against their source material. - Strong engineering practices, including tests, code review, continuous integration and containerized development. - Comfortable making decisions and progressing independently; intermediate or better spoken and written English.

Nice to have - Background in construction, engineering or another document-heavy, regulated industry.
