Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Role overview Lead frontend engineering work on large-scale commerce applications that need to remain available and dependable around the clock. You will shape technical direction, deliver product improvements with product and design partners, and help ensure that frontend decisions support both customer needs and business outcomes.

Responsibilities - Lead frontend product changes from early ideas through delivery in partnership with product managers and designers. - Build and maintain resilient applications designed for large-scale, continuous use. - Set and uphold standards for frontend architecture, automated testing, performance, and accessibility. - Serve as a technical reference, mentor engineers, and contribute to hiring. - Use AI and development tools to improve work while applying sound judgment about their limits and responsible use.

Requirements - Strong experience building and evolving large-scale, resilient frontend applications. - Deep proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, and CSS3. - Understanding of automated testing approaches and when to use them. - Experience guiding engineering teams and setting frontend technical direction. - Ability to connect technical decisions to customer and business impact. - Advanced English and Portuguese, and residence in Brazil.

Nice to have - Experience working on commerce products.
