About this role
Role overview A senior technology leadership role providing strategic direction across one or more major technology functions such as software engineering, platform development, information security, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, or PMO program and project management. The position shapes long-term technology vision, partners with executive stakeholders, and drives transformation and innovation across the enterprise.
Responsibilities - Set strategic direction in alignment with enterprise technology vision, translating long-term goals into actionable roadmaps and multi-year plans. - Provide expert-level problem solving for complex business and technology challenges, leveraging internal networks, external networks, and deep technical knowledge. - Lead, hire, train, assign work, and manage performance of direct reports, including coaching, performance reviews, and compensation recommendations. - Engage business stakeholders, peers, and industry experts in innovative dialogue to advance vision and identify new opportunities. - Drive strategic or transformation change within the area of responsibility and across the broader business. - Monitor risk at the functional and business level, manage budgets, and ensure costs remain within established levels.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus at least two additional years of experience in the functional area. - Minimum of six years of management experience with responsibility for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing direct reports. - Broad technology depth paired with strong business acumen and demonstrated strategic planning capability. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Nice to have - In-depth knowledge of technology for the functional area, preferably within a healthcare environment. - Familiarity with industry best practices, CRM platforms, AI governance, intelligent automation, and data cloud capabilities. - Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms, and regulated-environment security and compliance standards such as SOX and HIPAA.
Benefits and work setup - Compensation range of $105,000 to $165,375, with potential eligibility for bonuses and commissions; final pay determined by experience and other job-related factors.
