AI Automation Engineer

Role overview A remote role focused on designing dependable AI workflows, retrieval systems, and business automations that solve measurable operational problems. The work goes beyond prototypes, covering production-grade LLM applications, evaluation pipelines, agent workflows, integrations, and the guardrails needed for reliable use.

Responsibilities - Build LLM applications, retrieval pipelines, and workflow automations - Design evaluations covering quality, latency, cost, and failure modes - Integrate AI systems with business tools, APIs, and structured data - Create monitoring and fallback strategies for production workflows - Explain system behavior and limitations to both technical and nontechnical audiences

Requirements - 3+ years of professional experience with strong Python skills and production service development - Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, and vector search - Understanding of prompt evaluation, retrieval quality, and structured outputs - Experience integrating APIs and asynchronous workflows - A practical approach to privacy, security, and model limitations

Nice to have - Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks - Knowledge of voice AI, document processing, or computer vision - Experience with cloud queues and event-driven systems
