About this role
Role overview A three-month contract position for a junior full-stack developer joining a startup during its beta phase. The work centers on shipping product improvements, resolving bugs, and responding to user feedback across both web and mobile surfaces, reporting directly to the technical lead.
Responsibilities - Improve UI/UX of existing web and mobile products to create clearer, more user-friendly interactions - Fix bugs and implement incremental improvements based on product feedback - Contribute to a Next.js web codebase and a Flutter (Dart) mobile codebase - Write and maintain unit tests covering core functionality - Collaborate closely with technical leadership to prioritize and implement product changes
Requirements - Hands-on experience with Next.js (preferred) or comparable frameworks such as React or Solid.js; frontend-only experience is acceptable - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments - Exposure to Flutter development for mobile applications - Practical experience writing unit tests - Personal or professional projects demonstrating at least one of the skills above
Nice to have - Awareness or experience with Go, C, C++, or Rust - Basic knowledge of cryptography or security-related concepts - Interest in UI/UX design
Benefits and work setup - Paid junior position; compensation between 28,000 and 35,000 SEK per month depending on experience - Three-month contract aligned with the beta window - Expected start in early May
