Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Role overview A remote, full-time founding engineering role at an AI venture studio building consumer products at scale. The engineer works side by side with the founder, owns whole systems end to end, and ships improvements that reach millions of users.

Responsibilities - Ship product changes to large audiences within the first week - Own entire systems end to end: design, build, deploy, monitor, and fix - Reduce complexity by removing unnecessary dependencies, shrinking codebases, and accelerating page performance - Operate independently when teammates are unavailable so products keep getting better - Make pragmatic engineering decisions that balance speed and quality

Requirements - Ability to build and run a full product alone, holding up under real traffic - Track record of shipping at serious scale, including production incidents owned and resolved - Demonstrated speed without sacrificing code quality - Comfort reading source code when documentation falls short and profiling before guessing - Evidence of being among the strongest engineers on past teams, backed by shipped work

Nice to have - Experience building with large language models beyond API calls - Public trail of products, repositories, or writing that demonstrates craft
