This senior leadership role directs a small team of elite domain specialists who serve as the deepest technical bench on strategic, customer-facing engagements. The position sits at the intersection of modern data protection, cloud-native infrastructure, and AI-driven operations, and is responsible for turning architectural complexity into clear executive narratives that drive measurable resilience outcomes. The right leader combines deep technical fluency with a genuine investment in people, scale, and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of roughly 6–10 domain engineering specialists through technical mentoring, structured career planning, and an outcome-oriented culture - Define and execute the team's enablement roadmap with an emphasis on AI/ML, cloud-native architectures, and cyber resilience capabilities - Own the team's role in complex, multi-environment customer onboardings such as hybrid and multi-cloud transformations and large-scale resilience deployments - Build specialist depth in ransomware recovery, immutable storage, multi-cloud data protection, and Kubernetes-native backup, with clear growth paths into recognized expertise - Build and scale a content hub of playbooks, reference architectures, self-service assessments, and evergreen enablement materials that extend impact beyond one-to-one engagements - Run high-impact engagement programs including webinars, roundtables, executive briefings, workshops, and community forums across the customer lifecycle - Establish the team as a credible technical authority in conversations with customer engineering, architecture, and C-suite stakeholders such as CISO, CIO, and CTO leaders - Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success and synthesize field insights into feedback that shapes product roadmaps - Track operational KPIs to surface coaching opportunities, capacity gaps, and emerging portfolio risks
Requirements
- Demonstrated success leading senior technical specialists or architects in a customer-facing organization - Deep technical fluency across modern data protection, cloud infrastructure, and the surrounding AI/ML ecosystem - Track record owning complex, large-scale customer engagements that span multi-environment architectures and telemetry analysis - Comfort engaging C-level stakeholders on architecture, risk, and resilience strategy - Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust Architecture, and with maturity-model-based posture assessments - Strong operational and people-leadership skills, with a bias toward outcomes over activity
