C# Developer (Veeam Backup for Hypervisors)

Role overview A data protection company is hiring a C# Developer to work on the backend of a backup product for virtualization platforms. The role centers on improving architecture and component stability while shortening the time required to onboard new hypervisor integrations.

Responsibilities - Develop business logic for products in the virtualization space, including platforms such as RHV, Nutanix, and Proxmox VE. - Build new features and maintain existing functionality across the backup and integration stack. - Contribute to individual components and the wider product architecture, helping shape design decisions. - Improve the onboarding flow for new hypervisors so integrations become faster, safer, and more predictable.

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience on commercial software projects. - Strong knowledge of C# and a deep understanding of the .NET platform, data structures, and algorithms. - Solid grasp of software design and development principles. - Comfort working on both Windows and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) environments. - English proficiency sufficient for collaboration with international teams.

Nice to have - Experience developing for virtual infrastructure such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. - Familiarity with QEMU/KVM.
