About this role

Role overview This Staff Visual Product Designer role focuses on shaping the visual language and foundational design system for a SaaS product used by security, compliance, IT, and business teams. The position blends deep visual craft with systems thinking to deliver coherent, accessible experiences across a complex enterprise platform. The designer will operate as a senior individual contributor who influences direction across product, engineering, research, and brand.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve a scalable visual design language spanning typography, color, layout, iconography, illustration, motion, and data visualization across product surfaces. - Own foundational system elements such as design tokens, component states, responsive behavior, theming, density, and platform-specific adaptations. - Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer and business needs into reusable patterns and system-level solutions. - Prototype components and end-to-end flows at high fidelity to communicate intent and accelerate alignment. - Collaborate with engineers to ensure implementations preserve fidelity, accessibility, performance, and maintainability. - Establish standards, run critiques and workshops, mentor designers, and measure system impact through adoption, consistency, and customer outcomes.

Requirements - 8+ years of experience designing digital products. - Strong portfolio demonstrating systems-level visual design across typography, color, layout, iconography, and interaction details. - Proven ability to own design tokens, component libraries, and pattern guidance used by multiple product teams. - Skill partnering with engineers on implementation quality, accessibility, and performance. - Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through narrative, prototypes, and a clear design point of view. - Sound judgment applying AI and emerging technologies responsibly within design workflows.

Nice to have - Experience designing for data-rich, complex enterprise workflows such as security, compliance, IT, or finance. - Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive design practices, and theming for personalization or automation use cases.

Benefits and work setup - Competitive salary and equity. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with employee premiums covered for most medical plans. - 16 weeks of paid parental leave for all new parents. - Health and wellness stipend, plus remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend. - Commuter benefits for team members reporting to SF or NYC offices. - Family planning benefits and a 401(k) match with immediate vesting. - Flexible paid time off, sick time, and 11 company-paid holidays. - Remote-friendly with offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney.
