Senior/Lead Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview A senior or lead client-facing engineering role partnering with enterprise customers to solve complex business and technical challenges using AI-native development practices. The position blends hands-on architecture and coding with strategic leadership, helping customers adopt AI-assisted workflows and modern delivery approaches across diverse cloud environments.

Responsibilities

- Serve as technical lead for customer engagements, aligning business objectives with engineering priorities to deliver measurable outcomes. - Partner with executive sponsors, product leaders, and engineering teams to define technology roadmaps and accelerate AI-native ways of working. - Lead cross-functional workshops and solution design sessions, facilitating alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Act as a trusted advisor while remaining hands-on in implementation, contributing to architecture, coding, and deployment. - Promote responsible AI practices, AI-assisted development workflows, automation, and continuous experimentation across customer teams. - Use AI-assisted engineering tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and similar platforms, to design, build, test, and optimize software. - Design scalable solutions that integrate applications, services, APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms. - Mentor customer engineers and internal teams on modern development practices and architecture patterns.

Requirements

- Strong software development background with experience designing and delivering production-grade applications and platforms. - Demonstrated AI-native mindset with regular use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows. - Architecture and systems integration experience connecting applications, services, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. - Experience working with structured and unstructured data sources and enterprise data ecosystems. - Ability to navigate diverse technology stacks, programming languages, and cloud environments. - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience deploying cloud resources via Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling. - Fluency in English, with collaboration across teams in the Americas and occasionally Europe.
