Role overview A senior, strategic architect role leading design and delivery of enterprise digital experience platforms built on Optimizely. The position combines solution architecture, technical leadership, consulting, AI-enabled innovation, and people management across multiple client engagements. It is suited to a polished communicator who can advise C-level stakeholders, mentor architects and developers, and shape practice direction.
Responsibilities - Design enterprise-grade Optimizely architectures across CMS, integrations, analytics, personalization, and digital experience platforms. - Provide technical leadership across concurrent projects, guiding engineers through complex implementations. - Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and executive-ready presentations. - Lead discovery, feasibility, and risk assessment while supporting proof-of-concepts and critical engineering decisions. - Establish best practices around content modeling, headless delivery, security, performance, and maintainability. - Design integrations across CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, analytics, and identity ecosystems, and define data collection and experimentation strategies. - Architect AI-enabled experiences and workflows, including LLM, agent, and retrieval-augmented generation solutions, along with governance guardrails. - Contribute to business development, estimation, solution shaping, workshops, and proposals, while mentoring a small direct-report team.
Requirements - 10+ years in enterprise web development with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent leader. - Deep expertise with Optimizely CMS (CMS 12 and/or SaaS CMS) delivered as lead architect on multiple enterprise implementations. - Strong .NET background including C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Optimizely APIs. - Experience with headless and hybrid architectures using Optimizely Graph and/or Content Delivery API. - Front-end integration experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks. - Background integrating enterprise platforms (CRM, commerce, CDP, PIM, DAM, search, identity) and designing analytics solutions. - Proven delivery of AI-enabled capabilities in production, plus experience with Optimizely DXP, Azure, CI/CD, and Git workflows. - Excellent communication skills and experience supporting estimation and pre-sales activities.
