Responsibilities
- Partner with technical program managers to define OKRs, design insight-generating reports and dashboards, and source data across functions. - Write complex SQL and SQL-like queries, then communicate findings using data visualization tools such as Tableau. - Standardize, document, and maintain metrics, models, datasets, and dashboards for ongoing reuse. - Source and interpret data to support both time-critical and strategic decisions. - Enable adoption of dashboards by working closely with leaders and end users. - Measure product performance and value through clear metrics, collaborating with product and business leadership. - Ensure consistent data quality and availability throughout the product development lifecycle. - Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building strong cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis, dashboard development, and reporting. - Track record of turning ambiguous, messy data into tangible results that influence product or business decisions. - Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive projects independently in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency writing complex queries and performing deep data dives in SQL or SQL-like relational languages. - At least 2 years of hands-on Tableau experience building and managing dashboards. - Demonstrated ability to run analytics projects end to end, including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and operationalization.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT to streamline SQL, analysis, and documentation. - Domain familiarity with telephony, email, messaging, social media, or other electronic communications. - Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, or distributed computing technologies such as Hive, Presto, Spark, or Zeppelin. - Exposure to additional BI tools like Looker. - Comfort working with unstructured data.
