Role overview An Operations Analyst role with a finance focus, partnering closely with finance leadership to keep the financial side of the business running reliably while building the reporting and dashboards leadership needs to make better decisions. The work spans finance execution, including payroll and monthly close, and business insights, including dashboards, recurring reporting, and ad hoc analysis. It is ideal for someone who enjoys getting the numbers right and figuring out what those numbers are saying.
Responsibilities - Own payroll execution across LATAM and US systems, including contractor payments and payroll reconciliation. - Manage employee expenses, corporate cards, receipts, approvals, and reimbursements. - Support the monthly close process through journal entries, reconciliations, invoice tracking, and accounts receivable follow-up. - Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis. - Build and maintain a leadership dashboard covering key business metrics such as revenue, pipeline, retainer health, utilization, and cash. - Establish recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, and define consistent business metric definitions. - Monitor data quality across systems and turn fragmented data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Requirements - 3-6 years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, business operations, or a related analytical role, ideally within a growing company. - Hands-on experience with payroll, expense management, and monthly financial close processes. - Strong analytical skills and advanced spreadsheet proficiency. - Experience with SQL and/or business intelligence tools such as Metabase, Looker Studio, or similar. - Experience building dashboards, reports, or analyses for leadership audiences. - Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data. - Familiarity with tools such as Deel, Justworks, HubSpot, Attio, Greenhouse, or comparable systems. - Clear communication with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, plus the ability to manage work independently.
Nice to have - Experience supporting both US and LATAM payroll or finance operations. - Experience working in a startup, services business, or other lean operating environment. - Experience establishing reporting processes or analytics capabilities from scratch. - Experience with financial planning, forecasting, or budgeting. - Active use of AI tools to analyze information, automate tasks, draft materials, and work more efficiently.
