Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Role overview

This senior engineering role focuses on building the programmable infrastructure layer for an emerging autonomous economy, where machines coordinate transactions and decisions at scale under strict security guarantees. The position treats infrastructure as a software engineering discipline rather than a configuration exercise, with engineers expected to write production Go code that automates, hardens, and scales a security-critical platform. It is a high-ownership role suited for technically deep engineers who want meaningful impact in a cryptography- and security-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Own production infrastructure practices end-to-end, including provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, and observability - Build and operate Kubernetes infrastructure at scale, layered over Terraform-managed cloud resources - Write custom automation, tooling, and platform code in Go to remove manual toil and eliminate entire classes of operational risk - Design and maintain infrastructure for deploying and running applications inside secure enclaves and attestable compute environments - Shape thoughtful deployment pipelines and release processes that reduce software development lifecycle risk - Improve deployment, logging, monitoring, and alerting across infrastructure and dependent systems - Contribute to scaling and maturing a world-class engineering organization

Requirements

- Strong multi-cloud infrastructure experience, with deep AWS knowledge strongly preferred - Real production programming ability in Go, well beyond scripts or configuration files - Hands-on experience running Kubernetes at scale and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform - A learning mindset and high agency, with a track record of ramping quickly and taking ownership of outcomes - Working understanding of modern application architectures, paired with informed opinions on how they should be developed and deployed - Experience operating in highly security-conscious environments and a healthy degree of operational paranoia - Currently based in the United States

Nice to have

- Experience with trusted execution environments, secure enclaves, hardware security modules, or other attestable compute platforms - Deep Linux internals knowledge and techniques for reducing the attack surface of deployed applications - Familiarity with threshold signing systems and a desire to stay close to the cutting edge of production-grade cryptography - Active engagement with developments across the broader crypto ecosystem and strong opinions on its direction
