About this role
Role overview Lead a new password and authentication product from early discovery through launch and growth. You’ll shape its strategy, initial experience across web, browser extension and mobile, and path from individual users to teams, working closely with engineering, design and security specialists.
Responsibilities - Interview users, test concepts and run quick experiments to validate needs before development. - Set product direction and sequence the work, using evidence to make clear choices about what belongs in the MVP. - Partner with engineering to balance delivery speed, scope and security. - Define and track measures across installation, activation, regular use and paid conversion, then use results to guide releases. - Shape positioning, launch plans, pricing and packaging, and adoption through sharing and referrals. - Take on hands-on work as needed, from onboarding content and early user support to competitor research and team growth.
Requirements - At least four years of product management experience, including taking a product from concept to launch and growing it afterward. - Strong product judgment, with evidence-based decisions about what to build and what to leave out. - High ownership and comfort working through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment. - Technical fluency across topics such as encryption, authentication, browser extensions and mobile applications. - Experience with product metrics, funnels and data-informed decisions. - Clear communication and the ability to bring structure to complex problems for technical and business partners.
Nice to have - Background in security, identity, privacy or early-stage products. - Experience growing individual-user products into team or business adoption, or shipping browser extensions and mobile apps. - Interest in how AI agents and developer tools may affect authentication.
Benefits and work setup The role is remote, with flexible hours and at least four hours of overlap with UK working hours. The package includes a work laptop and accessories, a £2,500 development budget, and other benefits that may depend on eligibility, including health cover where public healthcare is unavailable, retirement contributions and enhanced parental leave.
